In terms of impulse purchases, it’s mildly expensive but whatever better than buying another dress from Madewell. It’s not super-nice by any means; my friend had to sell it cause she’s moving to California and clearly it’s already seen some good times. But it was cheap for a bike and I got a free helmet (yes I’m wearing one.. at least for now) and lock so why the hell not? And if it gets stolen I won’t be too broken up. I already rode my baby to Prospect Park today then I went up as far as I could along the East Side river and I didn’t die.

I dunno I’m probably crazy but I’m already kind of loving this. Biking is probably one of my favorite things to do and I was already feeling kinda mopey having had to say goodbye to Brooke, Jesse, and Josh so even though it’s kinda sad to bike alone idk maybe just being able to do this and do it at my own pace and be out in the sun and be super active will cheer me up. Or I’ll die. You know, one of the two.
